Financials
The annual financial goal of the Dover PTO is to operate on a break-even basis. An additional cash reserve is held that represents:
- One-year operating budget plus
- Capital for special projects which have included:
- $90,000+ of playground equipment for the new school (2001)
- $25,000 for Chickering grounds beautification (2005)
- $8,500+ for maps for all classrooms (2005)
- $30,000+ to create the Outdoor Classroom (2007-08)
- $30,000 for technology at the point of learning (2008-09)
